Designer Amines for Post-Combustion Carbon Dioxide Capture

Project Summary

This research project plans to synthesise new amines with purposely designed chemical structures to deliver liquid CO2-absorbents with specific characteristics as required in PCC-applications. It will examine the new amines as both single-component amine solvents and as promoters in mixed amine solvents.
